The Tel Aviv Wind Quintet

Our 2016-17 seasons opened with an interesting concert played by the Tel Aviv Wind Quintet. This concert included Sciarrino's beautiful wind quintet, Berio's opus number Zoo quintet and works by Israeli composers Omri Abram, Eitan Steinberg and Aharon Harlap. Before the concert, we had an open workshop with the ensemble, focusing on the Sciarrino quintet and extended techniques. The next workshop will be in December 2016, aimed mainly to students and composers that will have the chance to write and perform short sketches for wind quintet.
